For full information on our trading and website terms visit our Trading terms page. You will confirm your agreement to these during checkout.

Summer 2010 update :

Ordering is now offline for the summer.

Announcements will be made in September about changes to ordering systems for the 2010/11 season.

Mistletoe can be supplied now if needed - though the berries will be green (they don't turn white until late October). If you have an urgent need for mistletoe please email us, detailing which package you want and when you need it, and we'll check availability.

Shipping and Delivery

How much is postage/shipping?
Our prices include UK post and packing for weekday deliveries.

There may be extra costs for Saturday deliveries - please contact us before ordering if you need a Saturday delivery.

Sometimes there may be extra costs for delivery to outlying areas of the UK. This may only apply to courier deliveries to some areas (eg Scottish Highlands & Islands, N Ireland). Please contact us if you need a couriered delivery to these areas - we will endeavour to keep costs to a minimum, usually by using Royal Mail.

When do you deliver?
You tell us when you'd like delivery! Let us know your preferred delivery date and we'll dispatch your order to arrive on or just before then.

You will be asked for your preferred delivery date during checkout. Please give us reasonable notice! We pick to order and, as a small business, generally cannot manage orders for 'tomorrow'! Several days notice is best - and you can order several weeks in advance if you like.

We do have some suggestions for delivery days; Tuesdays to Fridays are best (where we dispatch on Monday to Thursday) as these reduce the risk of your mistletoe languishing in transit over a weekend (see keeping mistletoe fresh, below ).

A Tuesday-Friday date also avoids the problem of Saturday deliveries, which can cost extra.

We generally use Royal Mail First Class for small orders and Couriered Next Business Day for larger orders (eg Bulk Boxes). Do note that courier deliveries usually require a signature on delivery.

The risk of strikes by Royal Mail for this season could affect deliveries - particularly for the smaller packages. We will be reviewing alternative options as necessary.

Special delivery arrangements: If you require urgent or special delivery please contact us before ordering.

Keeping Mistletoe Fresh

How long does mistletoe keep?
English mistletoe will stay fresh for 2+ weeks - but only if it is kept cool. Once inside a heated building it will dry visibly after a few days.

So, don't ask for delivery too early, or if you do, store it outside in a unheated shed or garage until you need it indoors. (You can order well in advance - you tell us when you will need it - see notes on delivery above)

Unlike most wholesale mistletoe dealers we do not store our mistletoe - instead we pick to order, aiming to ensure you get it as fresh as possible so that its 'shelf-life' with you is as long as possible.

Delays in delivery (over weekends etc) can reduce its life significantly, as we have no control over how it is stored after it leaves us. We always use either Next Day Courier Services or Royal Mail First Class post to help ensure rapid delivery.

Ordering online

How do I order online?
You can order online by credit or debit card. Just click on the 'Add to Basket' button next to each item - this will take you to our shopping basket page where you can amend quantities, and then go forward to checkout, or back to continue shopping. There is no obligation until you have completed checkout.

January 2010 Update: Direct mistletoe ordering is now offline but if you need mistletoe please email us. Note that Grow-Kit and Grow-Kit Cards can still be ordered direct from the website

Do you take debit and credit cards?
We use Paypal to handle card payments. You will be directed to Paypal when you complete checkout. After payment you will receive a confirmation email from us detailing your order, plus a separate email from Paypal confirming your card payment.

Do I need a Paypal account?
No, you do not need to have a Paypal account; just have your credit or debit card details handy - you can use them without opening an account.

If you do have a Paypal account you will be directed to that from the checkout site.

Other queries

How do I contact you?
Email sales@teme-mistletoe.co.uk quoting your order number if you have one.

Address: Tenbury English Mistletoe Enterprise, Mistletoe House, 6 Mill Meadow, Tenbury Wells, Worcs. WR15 8HX , United Kingdom.

Can I sell you my mistletoe?
We do not generally buy mistletoe that has already been cut - we prefer to cut it fresh ourselves from orchards, by agreement with the landowner/tenant.

We can offer, in conjunction with the harvest, a mistletoe management service, cutting both the female and male plants and reducing the burden of mistletoe overgrowth that is becoming a problem in so many orchards in our area. Much of this overgrowth is comprised of neglected male plants, left on the tree as they have little commercail value compared to the berried female plants.
